Possibly have a BHG yet again

well if the car was done right in the first place (from toyota) there would of never been BHG problems to every mk3 there is

i mean my car was working fine already for half a year and then out of no where it happens again and i used all the good shit thats supposed stop it from blowing the head gasket.

from my reciepts on the car its been through 2 motors, 3 head gaskets, 2 water pumps, 3 radiators, 4-5 thermostats, 4-5 rad caps, 3 fan clutches, 2 turbos. this car is like cursed or something. and i do regular maintenance to it.

You sound like a Camaro owner to me. I wonder why I haven't head a headgasket go like that? Must be luck. :biglaugh: How the hell do you spend 10 grand, and not have a bullet proof long block?

I dont think the 7MGTE is a bad motor at all... definitely sounds like the mechanic at fault... and also with making say another 100rwhp a lot of other components in the engine have to match up to par... not as simple as winding in more boost, bigger intercooler and bigger dp/exhaust...

There is a guy in Australia that was featured in HOT4 mag which was a 7MGTE with 565RWKW and a rev limiter at 10800RPM with a 7MGTE...

im not saying its a bad motor. im just pissed that the car has been down more then ive been able to drive the thing. i hardly push the car. once in a while ill get on the boost but mostly im just putting around. and again i love the car i jsut cant deal with all the problems ive been having with it. spend all this time and money to fix something and it works for a little while and then breaks again or something else breaks.

yeah i have all the money into it but its all at different times. i mean i get motor stuff fixed but aroudn the same time i order other parts.

I really think youve just been unlucky and everything will go perfect in the future with right mechanic, doing things properly.. and knowing yourself exactly what is being done to it.. doesnt mean at all do it urself.. but if ur mechanic is doing it... ask ask ask .

Aaron, I myself get offensive with people that destroy our limited resource. But as for this individual, I guess I can't blame. He spent the money where somebody assured him it was being done right.

alright i think im gonna start lookin for a ls1 camaro or a c4 vette. i love the turbo and all that stuff but this is jsut bullshit.

has anyone ever had a modified supra with more boost then stock and other mods last mroe then a year?
