oh, and dont forget your going to be waiting a while for some parts.
if you have part numbers for what you want, then it makes it a ton easier also.

heres my question to you...

do you have a lot of money to just DUMP into a car? IF you do this, and keep it clean and was and polish it all the time, in 20years, it'll pay off... but, thats in 20years..

my ball park is 20k~
it really depends on what you need though... do you need OEM bumpers, fenders, seats, dash, ect... or do you just needs a gazillion little things? and are you trying to get an OEM transmission, subframe, ect. parts like that?

it depends on how much he really needs though... if your just talking about only interior stuff, then it wont cost 50k.

and if you spend 50k on restoring a supra... i better hope to god your making at least 600+ HP with all that money...

A guy near me has done a restoration on his 89 Supra, only thing left is the rebuilt engine. Otherwise almost everything sould be new, the rearaxle with the stickers for what oil toyota recomend was hard to find. Have talked to the local toyota dealer about him, have bought parts through them for about $8-9000 :evildeal:

It isn't THAT expensive if you go through champion toyota...you will pay an arm and a leg at your local dealer though.

and no, it is not possible to get all of the parts new - most interior parts are discontinued. Most body and drivetrain parts, however, are still available. I know this, because I have bought nearly everything new that I could have. I've spent nearly $7k on OEM parts just for the body of the car.

You could always buy the red turbo supra from that Toyota dealership in Calgary. It has 92km on the odometer and they are asking $50k for it. That's probably the cheapest option, and if I was serious about getting a pretty much factory new vehicle, it would be what I'd do.

just buy an insanely clean supra for 10k? clean the parts u have so they look new and just buy a few that need replacing, its not that hard. look the same as new, feel the same as new... cause theyre the exact same parts

Well, it's not like I want all new OEM parts.. I'm doing custom interior and stuff, but I want new technology in the rest of the car like new cars have.. How can I do this?

And, can I get a chassis built as a replica of the 1990 chassis?
