I come from a land down under
Do you have access to a compressor?

If yes turn the regulator down to around 10 psi and plug it into the WG hose if the diaphragm is ok the rod will move if not you'll hear a leak and no movement.

at one point i had low octane in there but it was only because i had my wife put gas in it and i forgot to say something. but couldnt say for sure if that was what was in there when it happened. but now that you say that, before this happened a couple days probly i did get a code 53 for a split second. is detonation pretty common on running low octane just once. i dont want to take the head off till i get my new hg. the one they sent got creased by ups.

but after all of this why was my boost still going so high on the stock setup? my waistgate checked out. i dont know if it was because i was hitting fc but i couldnt here the pressure release when i shifted. is that normal when you hit fc. i also checked my stock bov and it worked properly too. any other suggestions to why it was doing this?
