Yea I run one all the time. For both tuning and safety when boosting. Very easy to read and install. Was within .2 of the Torque Freaks wide band reading when I dynoed which is pretty dang close. Hope this helps.

It's a good deal. The only thing is I personally plan to get a Zeitronix WB just because of its excelent expandability for monitoring other systems as well as A/F, so for me its worth the extra 100 with the LCD.

I have the PLX and also the conversion unit that allows the Autometer gauge to actually do something to display the AFR. Good stuff!

i can hook my gauge up to my laptop and program the hell out of it.. your not going to be able to do that with an autometer

Happy ZT2 owner here, plus you can now datalog a ZT on a PDA now as well as a laptop.

I don't think any other WB can datalog all the functions of a ZT2 as long as you buy all the extra stuff.(egt probe and pressure sensor)

About 550.00 for the total package, not including PDA logging capability.

innovate still has that beat, and innovate is the only system that datalogs 44 times per second

I like the Zeitroninx.
They just came out with a new software which is Palm PDA based and that means no more lugging around the laptop fpr dataloging.
And it is very small so fits anywhere.
There support is great as well.

Personally, I dont feel the need at all to data log....seems like its more of " look what I have and can do" rather than, what can it actually do.

I will be using the brand new SAFC ( black one) to tune the car with. That one system has mostly everything I need to tune....the only thing it lacks is an A/F ratio metering port/device....

thats why I just wanted a SIMPLE wideband o2 sensor and digital display showing the accurate A/F ratio that I could tune with.

I can look at my tach and/or SAFC to see my rpm's
I can look at my boost gauge to judge boost pressures...

And personally, the Zeitronix is a bit bulky for me...I want a compact unit I could easily hide in the dash or under the overhang of the gauge cluster.

And it seems the PLX M-300 is that device.

Ideal, nothing about the PLX shows up here.

I am sorry for utilizing the forum in its proper manner.

ZT samples over 60 times per second.

Simann, this statement "seems like its more of " look what I have and can do" rather than, what can it actually do." confirms to me that you really don't have a clue.

I am not going to waste my time on you to explain the benefits of being able to datalog.

instead of watching the road, or your tach on a dyno, you are going to be watching your - tach, boost gauge, a/f meter, a multimeter monitoring VF and know exactly how far you have the accelerator pressed
in addition, when were talking about it's sampling rate of 40-60 times a second, you're telling me you can see that and have no need to datalog

look, some people like mandarins, some people like oranges. both are yummy tasting citrus fruits. so it doesn't matter which one you get if it has the features you like but you cannot intelligently say that datalogging is just "look what i can do"

I was wondering if anyone else had noticed that. Being able to datalog is one of my favorite things about my setup... and I'm actually getting more shit to be able to log more.

with MY set up ( daily driven, being its NOT a race car) I have NO REASON to data log. I want to keep the monitering devices as easy and within reach as I possibly can. I dont want to stop on the side of the road and read my throttle % and my fuel mapping......I just dont need it for my particular application! :aigo:

Seems that YOU, Dan cannot comprehend the lovely thought of SIMPLICITY inside the cabin. I dont like a cluster F*** of options if I am not going to use them.

1.Why buy a big house if you are the only one thats going to live in it?
2. Why fix a 5 course feast, but your the only one going to eat?......Yes it would be nice to have a datalogable system, but I just do not NEED it.

And you know what, I have money and a mind...if I decide later down the road that i want to data log and go for the highest hp 7m mk3 to ever grace the planet....well guess what....I can do it.
