Damn it man, I just saw the episode where they "pimped" a VW Bug. Blue and yellow with a Porsche front end and Ferrari side skirts. I didn't know until now, that a car show could actually piss me off.
My friends car was on the show it was a nissan maxima, all i can say is dont belive anything. Everything the people say is staged, they actually added trash to the car to make him look like more of a slob. They put lambo doors only for the show and right after taping took the car back put the doors on the regular way. Basicly all they did was polish a turd.
hey, maybe they could finish my engine swap for me.....i think i could manage to take the disco ball and fish tank out of my hatch later

If you notice, most of the vehicles on the show aren't even registered, like the owners have something beter to drive now. I watch it as entertainment, I don't ever believe any of those cars are actually going to be daily driven.

If anything, we should all write in and get The Amazing Spider-Man on the show to fix up his ride.....but then again that may be a bad idea. Last thing he wants is a 60 inch plasma under his car and a goddy body kit with spinners.
what are you guys talking, i just saw a show for tuners that took a N/A mkIV supra and dropped in a 5speed tranny (didnt want to give the kid a 6speed crazy fast car so they say) and a turbo...and stripped the CRAP body kit, added a new better one, and paint, and a CF hood, and sound, and matching interior, and nice rims, and he barely smiled when he got it.
i was so pissed.
how do these people even get picked anyways? how can we get on there? do they actually do a good job or is it all show? i heard pimp my ride does half-ass jobs that only look good for the camera, nothing more and probably dont last....true?

I guess the cars follow the "20 foot rule." In other words, from 20 feet away, they look pretty good. Any closer, and it's crap.

I do not think anyone here would let them do any work to our supras. But I agree I would sell whatever car they do f-up before it starts to fall apart and buy some parts for my supra
