no, and thank you for posting you finally checked codes! I have read your entire previous thread and now this one and you had the car running (i think) and never checked codes.

No...his cheapest/smartest option would be to get his car running like it should before he worries about tuning.

But getting a setup that is known to work (not 500cc injectors with a stock ecu and afm) will be a good start I've got a set of stock turbo injectors that I could sell you

like 7m4evr said i realy just want to get my car running right before i do anything to it. My motor has a fresh rebuild so i wont be abusing it any time soon but i just want to get thngs dialed in so i can have a safe drive home haha Would you happen to have 550s? :)

well, since 550cc injectors and the stock afm together has been known to "work" I wouldn't think his non-start up problem has anything to do with that.

jony89- I will try my best to help you with your problem, but please create a post that sums up your symptoms. I can only help you over the internet obviously so when I post something to try and narrow down your issue, you will have to give it a try then post a thorough explaination of the results, then we can move on to the next thing.

So right now are you saying that you are able to start the car and it runs, but it's just running super rich? Or are you still having an intermittent starting issue, getting a code 52, and having your plugs foul up?

Did you see Suprapowaz thread? He had an egr hose problem. Dunno if that'll help you or not. Just thought I'd bring it up

Alright lets start from the beginning. I swapped my 89 n/a supra with a 88 turbo supra. all the harnesses,motor,tranny,rear end etc. Now that everything is in, the car was giving me this problem of only starting in the morning and after shutting it off it wouldn't fire back up. (would crank) It was very bizarre! timing was put right there is fuel and spark.
After starting it another morning i had let the car idle for about 15 min. Then i shut the car off again to see if it would start up again. Sadly it didn't. Soooo this is when i took a spark plug out (picture posted) and noticed how black they are.

My guess was that i was running extremely rich because of my mods (stated above) so what i did that night was took out all the spark plugs and let fuel evaporate over night. This morning i cleaned all the spark plugs, threw them back in, and bam she fired up real quick.
I then shut the car off again to give it another try. And BAM she started up again. This time i had a smile on my face haha

So far she still fires up but i am running super rich, i can smell it and giving it a good rev and i can see the black smoke.
Is this enough proof of fuel flood?

And before the walbro and afpr the car ran fine (donor car) Donor car came with RC 500s

The reason why i didnt put the codes was because at first the car wasnt throwing out any codes. After about the 3rd time of keeping the car on codes came out!:3d_frown:

codes are 51 52 and 31. (31 popped up after trying to clean the maf sensor)

Okay now your getting somewhere because all three of those codes need to be fixed before you have a CHANCE at running right!! I guarantee if u fix your knock sensor code, adjust your TPS, and replace your afm (and dont clean the new one) your car will run 100x better lol. Look in the TSRM under EFI system, diagnosis, and then it will walk you through each code. But there are writeups on 51 and 52 so you shouldnt have anymore problems....dont drive the car until you fix these

I have an afm, if you PM me we can work something out. Just came off my car about two weeks ago. Also your fuel pressure seems a little low.

alright so heres the plan. Car needs to come out the shop period. There taking out the compressor and my car is in the way so sadly I'm going to drive it home today..its a must :( and when i bring it back im going to rewire the sensor to the ecu get a new maf sensor. and code 51 im going to have to read up on that. Then i will come back with some news for you guys.

stock afm? i put pressure low cause of the richness but it doesnt help. so ill adjust it as i do the changes

I saw that code 51 can be related to a/c. Im not running ac so its not connected can that mostlikley be it? Ill still need to check my tps but that hasnt been touched at all but its possible it couldve went out
