Code 31 means you are running off the limp-home map and rev limit is reduced to 3000 rpm. Good luck with that.

Keep thinking that if I can explain it just enough to spark some kind of interest they will actually want to read up on it and fix their own problem. Apparently it's easier to just keep asking the same questions over and over again instead of learning the how or why and being able to fix it themselves.

There is LITERALLY everything you need to know AND MORE in those write-ups. Just spend the amount of time it would take you to post another question on this thread and find them, read them, then fix your car. The car is not going to fix itself, and nobody over the internet is going to fix it for you magically. If you want to work on your own car, you are going to have to understand how it works eventually. And now looks like it is a good time to start trying to do that.
Please, please, just read them, try them, and then if you have further questions (that pertain to the TRYING part), look around for the other threads/writeups on these, then if you still cant find it, ask them.
