Here are some pics of the progress thus far.
Still waiting to get back the driver side valve cover because the tps was in the way of the hose going to the block. I Had to get a 90 fitting pressed in, and my Machinist kinda scratched up the valve cover trying to do it.:icon_mad:

Here are the pics

the next two pics are the oil drain.
For those who are on a t4 turbo, do you think the drain is good?
this was my only option, as straight as i can get it.
The fitting on the bottom is not touching the manifold, i can get the wrap inside, but still close.

fuel lines
dual feed single return, stock injectors for breakin with the stock afm, and a walbro.
max boost will probably be 5 psi during break in. I plan on doing a hard breakin.

Looking good sir. Good luck with your breakin. It scares me to think about breaking an engine in hard, but it's yours so have had it.

^^ I was going to say that looks pretty cool!

Are you using the mkiv mounts? Are those Swagelock (sp) fittings too?

running better.
my coolant problem seems to be the rad cap, suggested by my engine builder.
its a little too loose when tightened to the rad.

To alleviate this problem we bent the tabs up on the cap, and put it back on so its much tighter when screwed on.
He said the neck on the rad is wearing down.
gonna check it to see if the coolant is still in the rad.

As most of you guys know, the rad was loosing coolant, and he's suggesting that it is vapourizing and exiting through the rad cap.

I'll keep you posted.
Getting my rims mounted this week, so i'll have new pics of the beast.

WTF...where is that oil drain going? that isnt the stock location?

...looks like the drain goes into the "dipstick" location?

If that IS the dipstick location... how do you check the level now?
