Crf, I see you have the big housing on your C7, how does it spool for you?
Numbers?

Full boost (18psi) by 3500 but I am still running the stock cat back. Once boost hits about 10 PSI it basically launches. I am getting a 22cm housing for it also. Your local correct? We should meet up.

Yeah, we're in albany.
I have the 20 cm housing, so I can expect even quicker spool, that's excellent!
We'l have to do a mini nw gathering during dec.

I forgot you have on! Is that the one you are using that you coated?

That coating I bought is spray on. My buddy that owns an Airbrush shop will do that for me.....I need to get the manifold sandblasted with 120grit sand and then spray on a thin coat as for say the directions!

just lettin ya know... dr jonez's header never cracked untill he coated it... so yea.. i'd double think doing the header.

Headers need to be coated on the INSIDE as well as the out side. If you just coat the outside heat can not escape and the temp of the metal goes way up. Hence the cracking. Take it to a place that can shoot the full length of the inside.

I come from a land down under
Figgie: I already had a lot of T3 type headers/adaptors here, but I know exactly what you mean this is why I built an adaptor from T3>T04b instead of cutting and reflangeing the header, so I'm still able to use whatever Turbo I want ;)

Man, I really want to get our motor done.
I'm really contemplating just fabbing a dp and putting it on the motor as is, but this supra has been so nice to us, I want to do it right the first time.
That just means such a long wait... :(

My friend is going to paint it for me after x-mas.. He is a PROFFESIONAL painter ( airbrush/auto/ house)...I am sure he can dot it just fine :)

FYI any type of media blasting into aluminum is a no no. The only acceptable media is baking soda. The aluminum is too soft. When you blast it with any type of media, it (the media) becomes lodged into the aluminum and comes out at the most unfortunate times.

can i ask a question regarding the turbo and Adapter. Im running the ebay mani with a super t70 turbo which is a hybrid with a divided t3/4 flange. The turbo mani as you know is also divided, but the adapter (which i waiting on arriving) is not divided. Will the make a difference to the spool charateristics of the turbo??
