Not sure if that's what you meant either but if it is then here you go. Also, someday I'm going to get an 88 spoiler with the trapezoidal brake light.

Thats diffent how you panited the center on 89+ tail lights I kind of like it but at the same time it still looks odd.

Man... I hadn't ever seen one like that yet and was hoping I had an original idea for whenever I eventually got a set...

I love that look HT5SSilverSupraT!!

ive got a question for those of you who converted your 87 to 89 tails. what did you use to keep the key cylinder in place?

If you look closely...my car has no lock cylinder... :D hehe

I will get that fixed soon though...from what I have heard, you can swap the tumbler internals to the newer style housing, and it bolts right up.

Hmmm...that looks good. I will have this setup in the spring when I finally am able to install my lights.

Jonathan1: How did you swap the trim from your old center piece to the new one?

Does anyone have the write-up or explanation of how to swap the internals of the tumbler?

john, i got to know...how did you get those lenses so smooth and shiney. ha. seriously though. they look like they were wet sanded or something

Well, they were in decent shape to begin with...but I used Zaino ZPC swirl remover on an orbital buffer, and buffed for about an hour. They still look that shiny even after about a year.
