You know, that's what I'm thinking of doing. Modifying my stock '88 wing. Or maybe modify the aftermarket 3 piece I've got. Decisions, decisions :3d_frown:

I wonder how the pedestal spoiler would look, if it were mounted maybe a little higher, and a little further back... say, level with the bumper?

ive got a question for those of you who converted your 87 to 89 tails. what did you use to keep the key cylinder in place?

No, I beg to differ! You do not have to lose the lock cylinder. I did the tailight upgrade on my old 87, and utilized the lock cylinder. I reinforced the back with some hard styrafoam. I sold the car a couple of years ago, but I remember it was working okay when I sold it.

IMO the pedestal spoiler would look better mounted farther back, not sure what that'd do for the aerodynamics though.
