As much as I like supras, I would have to be half retarded to pay $26,000 for a 13 year old car with god knows how much abuse.

good statement....case closed....DONT GET IT and put the 26k into your mk3 :icon_bigg

I love both bodys and overall cars the same.....just cant afford to have an mk4 yet but aspiring to own both hehe

Damn F&F..jacking up the prices of supras to retarded levels. Thats almost what that supra costs off the lot.

Has lot less to do with FNF now and alot to do with simple supply/demand.

Alot of people are looking for examples as close to stock as they can find. Very far off from the FNF mentality from a few years ago when ricing our your Supra with combat kung fu karate body kits could still get you the same premium.

Yes, the movie definately did something but most of the FNF fanboys moved on to the next fad. Drifting, 240s, Corollas, etc.

I believe Blue Book Value on a 93 TT is about 24-26,000. Thank god the 90 N/A's have a BB value of about 3,500. Otherwise, I'd never see a supra in my driveway ;)

As for the ad, I'm really guessing rich dude that doesn't know much about his "fun" car. I doubt the weekly waxing and daily cleaning, but if I had a maid 24-7 she sure as hell would be getting familiar with a chamois. :)

if it was a weekend car, I can believe the cleaning.

I used to wash and wax my car every weekend (if you have a normal job with the weekends off, it's easy).

I swear, am I the only one that likes the stock MKIV wing?

offtopic: does the mkiv have as bad of body flex with the targa off as the mk3? i'm not saying its even bad on ours, but you know..

It is TERRIBLE on the mkIII IMHO.

My targa top is NEVER removed... it may as well be WELDED into place!

...hmmmm... welded into place!:aigo:

(Don't worry, I see you guys WINCING with pain and GRUMBLING with disgust... I would NEVER do such a thing! ...but the targa top stays in place, all the same.;)

We shall SMITE the first suggestion I "shoulda" just gotten the HARDTOP! When I someday write the history of the car... ye shall understand...

wanna know a little secret to get rid of targa flex???

TIGHTEN YOUR SUBFRAME BOLTS LIKE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO!

Mine are tight, just checked with a torque wrench. Still have a lot of loss in rigidity. I wouldn't say its horrible, but it's nowhere near the same feeling as when the top is on.

mine were scary loose, and got the shimmy down to a reasonable level by tightening...

milage also plays a key role in this as well, like everything else, the chassis will wear.

I'll deal with the targa flex with it off...until I can get a weezlewings (hint hint, someone needs to start making them again...)
