Depends on your setup.....
Come on man its a bolt on turbo how many different factors would you really need to make a rough estimate. When do most people see full boost with an upgraded ct26? I rarely hear people answer "It depends on your setup". An average would have been good, considering its a bolt on turbo but ok.....

Lets see a setup

Stock IC pipe route
2.5 IC pipes a good IC with a 3in core
3in exhaust
550's
LEX AFM and SAFC

I like my T04R, relatively quick spool and capable of good horsepower numbers.. Looking to go bigger though soon :D

yeah I'd say 18 psi by3500 is very comfortable depending on how you set every thing up.

If i had that turbo i would be using the stock manifold and 2.25 possibly 2.5 piping with the stock routin. Break down .... "how you set everything up". Whats your setup

Holset HX35 with 9 or 12 cm turbine housing, good for 500 HP

I had a Mitsubishi Heavy Equipment turbo that I was running on my Supra for a little while. Only problem I found with it was it had a turbine Housing of 17 cm and no one could tell me what it converted it in actual AR Specs. I made right at 500hp with it but I hated the Spool time. Set at 8 PSI, I didnt hit full boost until 4200 rpms.

Im stilll looking for a turbo that will hit full boost around 3200-3500 and will Pull its ass off all the way threw redline. Im running a T4 setup and I hear that the 67MM OR 61MM conpressor wheels with a AR.68 or 70 exhaust housing are the best if you are shooting for 500-550wrhp on Pump gas.

Any Ideas ??????

500-550rw on pump gas you are going to have to get the 67mm. its going to hit full boost in the mid 4's in standard configuration. however, you can get bb version for not much more, and use a p trim w/ a .58 a/r. the smaller a/r will limit some of the top end power, but at pump gas boost levels it really wont hurt much.

I have a stock toyota ct26 and I have to say lol it's one haus of a turbo LMAO. All kidding aside it's great for a stock turbo and large too for a stock turbo.

I also love the turbonetics T-66 BB turbo, the HKS T04Z is nice, almost any of the mid to large GT turbos from HKS rock out, and the BOSS turbos are a nice bolt-on option as well.

Not familiar with the mitsu turbo, but on the holset a 17cm housing is considered enormous, not surprised your spool was laggy, but your top end should have been great.

17cm^2 = the A part of A/R A being the cross sectional area in the turbine the R being the distance from the turbine shaft the the center of this A area.

as example the TD05H-7cm^2 is equivalent to 0.50 A/R
