Going into a MKIII supra?

My opinion is none of your choices. Stick with either 7M/1JZ/2JZ. But, if you are definitly doing one of those engines, I'd go with the RB26.

2jzgte or v8 (sbc or 5.0/ windsor) THERE'S NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT- except for a 2jz, they're just plain badass

why dont you do some thing different then everybody if " money is not a problem" try putting a 3uzfe in it

3UZ-FE
The 3UZ-FE is a 4.3 L (4292 cc) version built in Japan. Bore is 91 mm and stroke is 82.5 mm. Output is 216 to 224 kW (290 to 300 hp) at 5600 rpm with 441 N·m (325 ft·lbf) of torque at 3400 rpm. It has an aluminum engine block and aluminum DOHC cylinder heads. It uses SEFI fuel injection, has 4 valves per cylinder with VVT-i. A version of this engine is used in Toyota's Super GT race cars.

Applications:

Lexus LS 430
Lexus GS 430
Lexus SC 430/Toyota Soarer
Super GT
Toyota Supra GT500 Race Car
Lexus SC 430 GT500 Race Car

and the best part of this would be that it is still a toyota engine

I would try and stick to toyota, but if you absolutely must swap something esle I would go lt1 or 5.0.

I used to own a mustang, there is no sweeter sounding engine then a 5.0 and the parts to make them go fast are DIRT cheap compaired to japan parts
head for aftermarket aluminum heads for 1k an a supercharger kit for 3k and you would be SICK!
