oh, a MIATA???

there is a place that throws 5.0's in em....and let's just say they're a bit on the scary side...

you're gonna have issues with traction with any of your options IMHO, even the stock motor with a turbo is pretty nasty in those cars...

personally? I'd throw the S2000 engine in it and have fun int he twisties where the miata belongs...

If it's a Miata, I'd put a rotary in there. I think it would sound great, and you'd make more power than you could use.

why use a RB26?? cost you more money to switch everything over from AWD to RWD. just use the RB25. close to the same engine just single instead of twin turbo

We've got a guy in G'ville that was at the track with an LS1 swapped Miata.

FUCKING SICK.

I'll be doing an LS2 in my wife's Miata, most likely

Throw in a 3E motor ... make sure it's a carburetor model too.

LOL

Honestly, that motor has been the least reliable POS I've ever dealt with.

:icon_bigg There are a lot of people on my local forum who blindly preach the ls1 and ls1tech.com so that emoticon gets used a bunch!

I vote 5.0. Especially since a company makes kits to help the swap. That's something i've wanted to do for a while now.
