I talked to my dad and we are probably going the give the blue display a shot. Doesn't seem too hard to do.
take the green colored piece out and put a blue one in...
take a clear piece of plastic, use a blue sharpy on it, then put tape over it and put sharpy on it...wash rinse repeat until it's the color you want...
it still works without it's caseing if you want to test to make sure all the LED's work... (which I advise you to do...)

^--If that was a joke, then never mind...but if not, I tell you for a fact that's not how CRE did the one in the picture posted and how would you explain this with a blue sharpee?
I know the last two LEDS are out, need to go back in and fix those.

Kai found a pin compatible replacement module that's available in the most common colors and I made an adapter PCB. With the adapter I could even do pink or orange.
ok so..what's this bending of the LEDs? what LEDs am i supposed to use? those ebay ones you say?
can anyone take a pic of of the loose solder connection if my lo fan button doesnt work? i guess i can also look for it when i do the led swap.
I'd just be happy if my climate control buttons would stay down when I pushed them... So annoying.

Hey Borhor, if you said they are just swapped that easy can u tell me how many led bulbs that i need and what are the sizes? I know there are 194 as the bigger size bulbs, what about the small ones? How do you change that.....or we just dont?
