Old MKIII Supra Magazine Ad

I was looking through a bunch of old car magazines a friend of mine gave me and I found this on the back cover of two of the magazines. I'll scan it sometime so it's clearer. I plan on getting it framed and put on my garage wall and just saving the other one.

Just thought I'd share it.

btw, doesnt that car look lowered? like they used a car with a better stance for the ad but sold them with a different setup?

Probably is lowered for advertising purposes. I know for a fact they advertise some toyotas to date like this. Ex. being the scion line

Not a lot of us here remember them brand new. Damn they were so nice to drive new. I couldn't afford one then so snuck in test drives when allowed. 30k was astronomical then. You could get a brand new LS400 for $38k then.

wow they look great new huh. Its a totally different car. Nice front lip, clean corners, looking at that picture i actually like the stock ones as i have the half clear half amber and i love them too. Nice find!

You guys have no idea how insane the Supra was when it was new. Digital climate controls with full auto, heated mirrors, TEMS, etc... These were all things that you only got in high end luxury cars. And here you were getting them in an amazing sports car.

The car was truly something unique back then.

I remember they were 2.5x the price of the best fully loaded Domestic, Aussies in general don't buy a lot of 2 door cars so they're very limited in numbers here for genuine AU delivered cars.

I remember when I first brought my Supra home (2 years ago lol) my sister was surprised with what the Supra offered in terms of luxuries with comparison to her 2001 BMW 330i.
