I have to agree Mike. I really didn't know too much about them. I remember I was building a flemish bond horse barn for a great guy who owned a few dealerships here and his wife drove a red targa auto turbo. I looked at that one a few times, he talked to me one day about the car and said he had two at
the dealership. I stopped by and there mine sat. He had a red targa and my black one with a sun roof fully loaded. I bought it the same day. Amazing car to drive, kick ass power for then with all the luxuries of a sedan.
Funny, my wife was down at the ocean with the boys on vacation and I showed up with my new toy, she went a little nuts and the boys loved the car. I've had it ever since, many fine memories associated with the car when my sons were
growing up.
Mine has gone thru a number of phases over the years, changed the interior and the front to a Bomex bumper cover. Currently I'm doing a complete engine rebuild looking for around 550rwhp. Some day I'll post a build thread about it. Must say though I'm thinking of changing the interior and body back to complete stock, especially since I still have all the original parts. The interior was-is pretty incredible in the stock form and the original design is pretty timeless.

You guys have no idea how insane the Supra was when it was new. Digital climate controls with full auto, heated mirrors, TEMS, etc... These were all things that you only got in high end luxury cars. And here you were getting them in an amazing sports car.

The car was truly something unique back then.

I remember how tight, quiet and smooth they were. I was 21 the first time I drove an MKIII and up until that time it was the nicest vehicle I had ever driven. A cherished memory. I remember after driving a Lexus, that I thought the Supra felt like one.

It's Not Important Bro
I have to agree, the cars are incredible. Not to brag, but my 91 has 36k original miles and she drives better than 99% of the sport cars in the $25k+ price range built over the last 8to 10 years. Something about seeing kids that younger than our cars druel over how sharp they are. Something about driving a Japanese Super Car that just makes ya proud.

The add was a nice find and that car surely is not on stock suspension, in my opinion.

Looks so clean and new.....look at that lip! I would die for a brand new Black MKIII.

Lol, didn't this happen in a previous thread? Stock photo of a MKIII; half the thread having googley eyes for the stock front lip.
