Oil Leaks: what and where can they happen?

if its not boosting... are u sure u dont have a boost leak somewhere? i doubt its oil related.

check the seal along the oil feed/return lines. also check your oil pan. thats a simple place to look at. there is also an o-ring on the dipstick that tends to go out. its similar to the cps o-ring deal. might look into that. ive heard of those leaking oil sometimes

take your accordian pipe intake pipe off and look at the compressor wheel of the turbo and see if there is oil allover in there. there might be a drop right on the housing. check that too.

Well the car boosts when its driving, it just wasnt doing whilst in the air... I dunno if thats normal or not, here are the pictures of where the oil seems to be coming from and where the smoke is definitely coming from...

well, i think alot can be figured out when u pull the accordian off and/or the turbo. might need some new gaskets and/or a new turbo. check your shaft play in the turbo too. side/side and up/down and in/out shaft play. im not sure. maybe others will chime in.

turbo is brand new, w/no shaft play at all..... as far as oil in it I have taken the intake off before and not noticed anything, I can do it again if you think that could be a sign of something... but I dunno

anybody know what kind of work I am looking to get into by pulling the manifold/turbo?? also do you think that will take care of the problem?? Also what gaskets am I going to need if I proceed in that? Thanks
