ok so i was just changeing out my plugs on my freshley rebuilt 7m (has many other issues) i thought it was just burning oil because its a new motor and the rings havent set yet... well heres what the #6 plug looked like:
all of that oil on my hand came from the plug... im thinking that the idiot that rebuilt my motor got in a hurry and forgot to make shure the piston rings werent lined up on the #6 piston... this sucks... is there a way to tell if in fact the rings are all lined up? maby its valve seals? but the head has been freshley rebuilt... btw theres 385 miles on the motor..
i also just went back out there and took a flash light and looked down into the spark blug hole.. all you can see is oil... so the whole cylinder is full of oil... perfect...
