oil drain plug leaking help?!!

So I did an oil change on my soop today. After I replaced and retorqued the drain plug I noticed oil dripping from the drain hole. I bought a new gasket for the plug and it was still dripping. So I've been reading older threads and looks like I may have a drain plug sealing surface dent (probably guys at Walmart auto service over-torqued it and fucked it up). I kinda have an idea of how to fix this but Im gonna have to take the drain plug off and I was wondering If I can just drain and re-use all that oil cuz I paid a shitload for all that oil and I don't wanna waste it what you guys think? any suggestions on how to fix that leaking problem?

If you do decide to re-use your oil, make sure you have a good container that you can put it into. You do not want any contaminants in it. I have used a little Teflon tape on the thread, and a new gasket for the plug and it stopped my leak. Maybe you can try this.

You can reuse the oil if you have a clean container for it. But it needs to be very clean.

a thin layer of gasket maker on the new gasket goes a long way with the dimpled pans...

so I found out some threads around the drain hole were cracked so I bought teflon tape and gasket maker. Wrapped teflon tape on drain plug and sealed the gasket on with gasket maker and I even used gasket maker around the drain plug after I torqued it. Now its on tight no leaks! hope it won't be a pita takin that plug off next time
