It's sad how some A-hole guys can bring an entire forum down. I rarely go there and almost never post since I find it a much better community over here.
The MKIV guys that are so high on sniffing their own asses has really brought my view of the car down. I used to love MKIV's and some of the owners have altered my view on them.
Most of them are great, and I love finding a MKIV owner who really appreciates and likes the MKIII's. The trolls and 14yr old members who saw the car on F&F and joined the forum are what really bring it down.

Let's not go stereotyping MKIV owners, now. Doesn't make you look any better.

There's just as many asshole/ignorant/stubborn MKIII people there as well. Alot of them show up anytime 1JZ and 7M show up in the same post.

It's true a lot of elitists exist on that forum(they're here too) but a defining demographic is not the car they own.:)

You clearly didn't read. I have MKIV, MKIII, DSM, domestic friends. The ones that think of MKIII owners as "lesser than them" are the ones I can't stand.
Example- http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?p=4106175#post4106175

Joe it doesn't make anyone look better. Just makes people look ignorant and unfriendly. I remember a thread where you were called a 2JZ wannabe, It's just insulting being looked down upon don't you think.

There are assholes everywhere. Not saying it's only one group of people.

Edit: Maybe pulling up to a MKIV and saying "hey" only to have the driver look at me and laugh saying "Oh no, not another jealous celica" wasn't the best experiance of ego-driven drivers.

When I go to car meets I look for the good people with smarts and I ignore the punks. People usually gravitate to other people like them, so if everyone you meet is an asshole then maybe........ :biglaugh:

If it didn't have b/s/t it would be completely useless. ;)

agreed. And it is good for regional stuff, no one uses the regional forums here. But the "south" forum on SF has a lot fo traffic and news on local events. The rest of the site.... well... you know.
