i'm not sure how they're different, or if you could modify the new squirters to fit the different holes?

jeff lange might know.

The in fact only fit 89+ hoods, because of the way the hole is shaped. The 89+ are bigger and wider. Even then you need to use a dremel to make them fit like stock. On that note, you can always just dremel your pre-89 hood as well :D

Actually the new squirters are AWESOME! There was a whole writeup on these at some point - but as always nobody takes the time to archive the tip and create a static page outside of a forum (like the tech tips on the Supras.com site).

The old writeup had a link to a page outlining the technology behind the newer squirters - not just to anemic streams of water limping out onto your windshield.

I've got these on my 89T. There is an additional benefit also as they have a 90 degree bend that causes the hose under the hood to ride up along the bottom edge of the hood rather than creating those unsightly loops.

I didn't have to dremel anything. I used a rotozip. Kidding. I didn't have to modify my hood in any way - other than to remove the old squirters.

This is most definately the coolset washer nozzles can ever get. :)

RazoE - You could trouble shoot your wiper/washers -
and check the washer motor. There is one for the front and a separate one for the rear -
I'll post links to tsrm when it comes back online :(

You shouldn't have to modify the hood in any way to put these in, if you have an 89+ that is. If you have a pre-89, you can get a newer hood (what I am going to do), or Dremel out the holes.

Jdub Thank You for the part numbers I am ordering these today. Here where I live I have to use my washers almost every morning of the year, even during summer we get a fog that rolls in and coats your windshield with who knows what.

Anyone got pics of the upgrade washer nozzle next to an 89+ nozzle? As many of you know the 89+ nozzle are more streamlined and look better (at least IMHO)

Jeff, are the nozzle holes the only different, pre/post '89?

Yup.

They look the same externally from what I can remember, just the nozzle part looks different.

I had pics somewhere. They aren't the same externally. The MkIII sprayer is a bit more rounded - the new ones are a bit more angular but not sharp. Like comparing the corners on the MkII to the corners on the MkIII. The average rabid Supra owner would likely not even notice. You WILL notice a difference in the spray pattern.

Mine was different on the bottom, the way the hoses went into them were different. That's why i had to dremel them slightly to fit. The hood was an early 89 N/A so that might have something to do with it, i don't know.
