New Supra Acquired.

Hey Alex, it was pretty quick until out on a test drive we found it had NO OIL in it! LOL
So we went to a gas station and dumped 4qts. Not sure if the big puddles underneath it are from an OIL leak somewhere or if its the PS pump, PS rack (cuz the boot is torn), or the PS resevior.
But all the kinks will be sorted. When its not setting a knock sensor code 52 it does pull good

im somewhat happy with this supra.. looking into the features of the FCON..

Careful with that. I found out the hard way fuel cut is not always a bad thing.

PS this supra is going to break my previous record..
EVERY single supra i have owned, has been grey interior (thank christ)
this one is blue, which i don't mind.. at least it isnt burgundy or desert sands color.

Very nice.I like it it.It sits at a real nice stance with tho's wheels and the bumper looks sick.Now all you need to do is post some pic's in my pre 89 bumper thread and sell me that fan shroud.well good luck with the car and whats your plans with it since your going 1J in the red car
Well I wont need the FCD, i'm only boostin 10psi. And once the 2J is swapped in there I'll be on Megasquirt engine management. What you should do is FCD the 1J car. Although it's an auto, so the tranny sorta acts as your fuel cut, lol

i am really racist against burg/ tan colors... MOSTLY tan.. i'd tolerate burg for a bit before swapping it out though..

Funny, you're gonna build Christy's automatic w/ a 1jz and not this one. When you should build this 5 speed instead. You wont realize the full potential of the 1J without a manual transmission!

the NBIT meet at zankoku performance was fun.. we had ALOT of people come this time.. a ton of cars.. but we rounded up all the 'yotas and took some pics.. pics came out crappy but one of the AE86 owners had a NICE camera so ill post better pics when i get his..
