New Intake for the 7MGTE (need testers)

also.... after looking closly at the NA intake...
i'll need someone to take a few pitures of it at different angles.
im worried about the clearence between the strut tower and the distributor.
some side pictures so i can see the exact angles of the pipe.

btw if you dont have a recirculated tester. i got the stock recerculation(sp?) valve.

What color pipe would you guys like to have for an intake?

i can do black, blue and red for sure. i can check on other colors to see if they offer it in the ceramic.

the cupplers are going to be black.

I live in Alabama. I use my car for a daily driver. Venting a BOV to the atmosphere. I'm game for trying this intake out. Either black or ceramic. PM me in interested. Here is a pic of my engine bay.

Okay that 50/50 on shipping sounds good to me if it means the further advancement of the MKIII N/A parts catalog!! I am going to the junkyard on sunday so I will let you know sometime in the afternoon if I have found one. There shouldn't be a problem finding one because there were 2 or three a few sundays ago!!

if they are as nice as im hoping.. i'll order all the sets i need to build the test intakes.
sooo hopefully they can be ready as soon as next thursday. all depends on teh couplers

well... i got good and bad news about the intake....

bad news first... the couplers that came in are 1/2 an inch too small. :squint:

good news is... i got home earlyenough and i got a few pictures...

monday morning i will order the 4 inch couplers and have them shipped ups air to me. so it won't slow down the production but a few days... hopefully

the other good news is today was the 2 week test on the cermanic coating, witch is in perfect shape:bigthumb:
