New headlights + fogs *pics*

Hey Guys

So I installed my new headlights today. Paid AU$80 all up with postage

Had to use the original bracket from the stock headlights

At night , more then enough coverage

Brights

Much cleaner look IMO

One of my fogs was badly rusted through so I thought i could get this rust off my taking the glass cover of. Wrong - the rust had eaten away at the metal itself - irrepairable.I did the next best thing , sprayed it black. Dont really use my fogs anyway. While attempting to take the glass cover off , one of them cracked. This meant I had to go coverless until I can find another set of fogs.

Oh well , better then nothing I suppose..

Projectors headlights was looking at them on eBay but didn't kno wat kinda out put they would have n.how good they would look but pretty nice job man...I really wanna do the nsx swap though

yes they are the ebay projector headlights but with better bulbs (as the light output ont he ebay set is crap). Il take a pic of the light angle soon.

Just a few things to be aware of , you MUST change the bulbs , the ebay ones do no offer enough coverage and this can be downright dangerous.

ALso check if they meet approval , I dont know how things are in the US , but in AUstralia you can get defected if they dont comply with certain standards.

Also the sleepy eye look was done just for fun ,I wont (and no one else should) do the sleepy eye look with these headlights(or the stock ones) at night , this is dangerous as well. For the sleepy eye look to be done a proper headlight conversion that allows full beam output at a lower angle is neccessary.

Until i see the output, I'm condemning these as dangerous POS's. Sorry.

I have yet to see any projector retrofit for under at least $250 that is even usable. I hope you prove me wrong.

Friend bought a set of eBay china projector HIDs. Just threw them in and they actually work awesome and didn't blind me at night while driving towards him. Think he had around $100 in it all said and done.

my buddy got his from ebay $25 shipped they are a improvement and his do not blind you. i my self might get them also just because they were cheap and they worked better then his old stocks and they were glass..but i wouldn't put hids in them.

so, basically, that bulb housing allows you to put in an HID projector? how much room did you have to put the projector in? I would love to upgrade to HID the proper way, just need a housing.

unless you plan on spending a few hundred $ trying to make them work, dont bother. They are by no means plug and play. Cutting to the radiator support is one of the few things needed to be done to make em work.

the Wagner "briteLight" works really good. its still a sealed beam but the light output is very good. and its DOT approved only cost me 16 bucks
