Wow. How'd you get so much torque? :) Do our cars have more torque than toyota says, or is something off?

Stock specs: 200 hp 188 tq ---> Crank

I wonder how it makes more torque to the wheels. lol. Toyota must have screwed up on that one ;p

You think its loud with no muffler, try running it with an open header. Yikes!!

I'm hoping to hit around 250 hp., and around the same in tq. on this current n/a build.
There's also this T70 turbo laying around in my shop, wonder what I should do with it? ;)

LOL, i ran it for two days with a open header sounds like big v-8, never again tho ;)

Good luck on your quest to 250, im going to cheat and use a turbo, and if you have the ebay t-70 you can expect something like this:http://supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=461555

That's a 2jz you linked to. I figure with a good intercooler, 600cc injectors, maftpro, and a good turbo header on the afore mentioned n/a build, I should be able to hit 450+ easy. Yes, it will have forged rods and pistons. Guess I should start a build thread eventually...

I ran mine open header for about 5 min. It did sound wicked though.

Cuel: I'd like to see a NA roll 250. I'll be glad if I end up with 240 the next time I dyno, if I ever get this Maft-Pro dialed in.

meh, I should get close. The port job is pretty intense. I matched the intake to the head, and the upper and lower intake runners are matched as well. I didn't go as far as you with the stroker kit, but I think I'll find a bit more power by making the head breathe as smoothly as possible. Hell, if I hit 225 at the wheels, I'll be happy. I really would need to go higher compression than I am to hit 250, as well as bigger cams and over sized valves. Really building it more toward the n/a to turbo build, with forged and balanced internals.

the hp and torque dont cross at 5250rpm because the hp and torque are on a different scale.

as far as the actual rpm numbers, your tach could be off. the dyno uses a pickup right off the plug wire.

I say my tach is off about 300 rpms, everything seems ok but the whole sheet could be shifted to the right about a 1000 rpms

nice torque if it's actually legit. did you change anything from the last time?

have you had to to the track to confirm if it's reasonable?

What exactly did you do between the last time you dyno'd to gain ~50ft/lbs?

The 3hp difference doesn't matter. That much variation could be seen between 2 back to back runs. But 50ft/lbs gain with the same hp? Sounds fishy.

edit: I Read closer. You made no adjustments. I'd say your previous dyno was the accurate one.

I wasn't the one who dynoed. lol. (just saying that, since you quoted my post)
