I wanted to go down to Fremont today but I hit some more problems with the damn car. Need to replace my lower intercooler hose, the one that goes from under the turbo. And I need to fish out a screw or bolt that somehow fell into the timing belt valley. It's really annoying... ugh.

You can really see how much better the RS*R fits now that everything is the right length.

Turbo D/S. It feels so much better than the old one (which had a shot bearing).

So, to fix the heater, I went and bought this:

The valve has been cracked for a little while, and I had it bypassed. When DM did the swap, they just blocked off the lines. Needless to say, I've been freezing my ASS off. Well, now it's fixed.

Another little thing that's been bothering Elizabeth more than it has me, was the passenger window. One day it rolled down, never came back up. I was too broke at the time to buy a new master switch, and too lazy to go find one at the junk yard, so I just rolled it up with a battery and unhooked the power. Well, it's Christmas time, and Natalya deserves two working windows, so I bought a new one:

friggin Bay Area traffic is like that all day ... thath's why it makes no sense to own anything more powerful than 350hp - 400 hp cars. No good open raods to enjoy it

Just installed an AutoMeter boost gauge. I put the tee here:

And placed the gauge here:

The meter's light runs off the old ashtray courtesy lamp circuit. All in all I'm damn proud of myself for what I've accomplished today.

1. Fixed Window
2. Fixed Heater
3. Fixed Climate Control
4. Installed Boost Gauge

Boost peaks at about 13 PSI before FC starts rearing its ugly head. I'm thinking of hooking up another gauge tomorrow. There's room for one more in the ashtray area. :biglaugh:

Question: Can I run the lights for both off the same lead?
