Have you seen the torque curve and power on those things?! Through the gentleman's agreement, its obviously limited to 280ps, but it has something like 350 foot lbs of torque with a curve as flat as an electric motor. That in itself is amazing, but the engine is OVERsquare; it has more bore than stroke! Usually something with more torque has more stroke..

i looked at an 80 with a 2F, and pictured my 7MGE resting peacefully inside.
but i dont know what else came with it,
all i know is the 2F and it's a 4230cc inline 6. and i haven't even googled.

oversquare is more stroke than bore
so if it's oversquare, then it's longer stroke than bore.
