Pretty sure the 2JZ-FSE is a direct-port injection DOHC engine with VVT-i, can't remember if it had VVTL-i or not... it's pretty recent... like 2000+ I think.

Yes, the 2JZ-FSE is the 2JZ with direct injection and F heads (why not keep G?). VVTi, probably VVTL-i because of how much newer it is over the 2JZ-GTE. Only car I've seen it in is the Crown "Estate" or whatever the station wagon is!

and Orian, you are correct. the VE30DE is a DOHC chain driven 3.0L v6 with variable valve timing on the intake cam, and was only available in the US in the nissan maxima, years 91-94.
sounds like an m3 when its uncorked. it's got that "noise" that's not quite an engine singing, but a whole bunch of racket. that raspy m3 noise... it's strange, but it sounds awesome.

If I had a choice of any Honda to build...the NSX would obviously be everyone's first. But my second would be the Odyssey...big block Honda.

yeah! the C30A is an awesome engine. turbo'd nsx's are incredible. the turbo is visible from behind the car in most kits. it's just so good.
