That light isn't an LED, it's a tiny light bulb with a green condom on it. The reason it doesn't work....is because it's burnt out

The little green LED is the footwell courtesy lite - s'posed to come on when u open the door. Mine DID...till I took out the dash!
The LED just pokes thru the undercover next to the hood release.
