Lol that was a 5500rpm stage limit and 7500rpm rev limit only at 15psi

Oh well ill be able to do that now and go to 9k no problem.

Do the BC 272 cams require shimless buckets in a 7m? Im going to hopefully finally get around to installing mine soon.

You should really get springs and retainers. I dont know that shimless buckets are necessary, but springs/retainers should be done with 272s

Shimless arnt required. Springs and retainers are. I recommend going shimless.

Yea i have the bc 272 cams and the BC springs and retainers. I was just wondering as i cant seem to find much information on whether shimless is necessary or not.

I have seem IJ posted that above 9mm lift it is required but the BC's are only around 8.5, i didnt know if that was close enough to be dangerous.

i think im going to go shimless for the piece of mind.

Well the 1jz BC 272 have 9.5-9.6mm of lift
