If the got dayum ACT wasn't on national backorder for the last year things might be alot different for quite a few folks.

I've had ACT on my previous cars but so far Custom Action > any clutch I've used.

Yea unfortunetly the ACT clutch is still on backorder thru the end of this month. I have 5 act pressure plates, and 5 X-treme pressure plates here in stock ready to ship, but I cant do anything without the disks.

I have actualy been shipping ACT clutch orders with action disks recently (with the owners permision)

Well I don't know the full extent of holding power on the Action clutch but the pressure plates are the strong point from ACT. Combine that with the action disks and you might have a beast with good drivability.

This was a GREAT year for the MkIIIs.

Not only did a 7M-GTE powered car take the top spot on the dyno but another one took the honors in the Pro Turbo class at the drags - and dipped into the 9s while doing it.

I'm still working on the official pictures and results - still trying to catch up on my sleep.

Thanks again to everyone that came out to SILV07!

I'll be there next year with or without my car so THANK YOU for such a fun time and doing all the hard work for us. Driving 2hrs to get there is the hard part for me :)

2 hours?

I'd imagine it would be close to 12 for me to come...

It's only 239 miles from my house to the casino I stay :)

And don't complain cause you get TX2K8 close to you :(

12 hours? That's it? I drive 13 hours on my first day and another 5ish on the second. And Chris Jensen drives another 3 on top of that just to get to my house on the way to Vegas.

I've driven every year and wouldn't miss the drive for anything - although the past two year's I've had to leave the Supra at home because I have too much stuff to haul down for the event. I've put 36,000~ miles on my Supra just going to SILV over 9 years. And I've put another 6,000~ miles on rental vehicles supporting SILV.

3.73

I <3 my 3.73. Makes doing highway pulls super fun. Long 3rd, long 4th. Any faster than topping out 4th = time to back off. Helps load up the turbos in 1st and 2nd too...
373 is 3k rpms at 80.. unless your jz trans is out of another year w/ a different spedo gear..

I wish a major meet was 2hrs from me :( Its 15 hrs to Texas from tampa, and 3 hrs from tampa to my house.. (18 if you guys are counting).. and will be there again this year with my car.. unless it breaks..
