Unless that Braided line on the Oil Pump is a Teflon line I'd get it out of there before it fails.... :nono:

now you have me worried. is the line from driftmotion safe?

Dunno is it Rubber inside?

The outer layer of rubber hose isn't meant to be submersed and softens in time, the AN fittings "lock" onto the outside of the hose so when the rubber softens they fail...

There is 0 reason to replace the stock hardline..

Idk I'll ask the guy I got the motor from about the line.

And well I bought a wrecked 86 ninja for 150 bucks and traded it for the supra to my brother straight up... So I'm in good standings
I think right now I'm borderline 2000 dollars more or less the budget is more of a goal Than a set thing ya know but that's just to get to the power level.

Im far from done with the car with that budget. I still need suspension, tires or different wheels and tires, new paint, and other odds and ends...

I can't sell the car, I told my dad back in 06 when I had my beat up.87 turbo, that id have it one day and show him what to do with it. He had almost 13k in that stock supra that didn't run....

Short answer no. Take a look at the PCV hoses on your engine. Ever notice how even ones a year or so old are hard as stone. Thats a nasty environment for rubber.

oh goodie. from what i've seen, it's an upgrade over the restrictive stock line. i'll have to save up and get the azp line then.

AZP Oil pump supply kit AZP Oil Pump Supply Kit

This is the Arizona Performance 7M Oil Pump Supply Kit. Replace the Super restrictive stock crush bent piping with this high flow kit. Does not require any special taping or machine work, a completely plug and play kit. The Factory Banjo bolt and small compression fitting are a serious limit to the 7M Oil system. Ask me about the Oil pump shims and Oil Cooler shims and I will throw them in for free. Read all about how this part came to be here. It couldnt hurt to go back to the start, there is a ton of useful information in that thread look for my videos on how I tested the Oil Squirters new and old.

I have one of these kits and really enjoyed the fit and finish. I even got the shims thrown in for free but i haven't shimmed my pump yet.

Yeah ok..... :nono:

Plenty of High Hp 7M's getting around with the stock hardpipe and no issues at all..

If you want to spend the $ fine but don't think you're fixing an inherent problem.

The Softline kits on the other hand are a joke plain and simple.

Ij chime in how long you think that oil line would last, if in fact it is rubber?

I'm down a daily right now (f**k a mustang) shoulder put it off another couple weeks before I start putting it together?

I mean we all have a piece of rubber line in the fuel tanks that get submerged in fuel and crap and I figure the gas would be more harmful than oil....?
