I'm planning on running e55 bi-xenon lows, with a set of free-range (damn if I can think of what they are called!) projectors for highs.

That's right, 4 lights, two outers for low, and all four when I'm running out in the middle of the damn forest

Awesome job for 100!

I myself picked up a free pair of 2008 350z headlights that were warrantied out because the housing had stress cracks in them. I'll be popping out the projectors of those and be doing the samething myself once I get the chance!

Cool post a build thread on this please. I was thinking of getting the Kaze set up from RHDJapan . If not I will be building a set as well . I am even going to use the projector fogs I bought . I do alot of high speed mountain driving at night so light is good. Our lead car is a 510 with a VQ30dett swapped and he replaced his high beams with aircraft landing lights. Fukking bright I tell you.

2 hella DOT 90mm lamps per headlight and they are mounted high on the headlight housing so they flip up only 3" instead of 6" I have (2) 7k slim ballast hid ebayers in each headlight,

Also the high beams are longer so I decided to use two low beam projectors if you look inside the projectors you can take out or modify the light shield for the high beams or turn on two low beams only or both low beams if on high beam setting Im figureing out which route to go with.

The low beams are the longer ones as they're projector.

Also, I'd buy the real HID versions as the chinese HID's are GARBAGE...
