That's gonna be sick! Are you painting the car like the rendering above? Where did you get this car? And also, what are you doing with the starlet back there?? :naughty:

thanks,

yes the car is going to be black and the graphics are going to be vinil stickers, i get this car from a friend who buy it for just the wheels that came in it from factory and he give the car to me, the starlet? that one is for sale cuz i was going to build it but as soon as i found it wasnt going to be a stock chassis anymore i change my mind and went to build the celica the starlet got a narrowed mopar 8 3/4 rear end with a 4-link suspension and weld 15x10 wheels ready to go in but not finished i am seling that check it on ebay under "starlet" or mopar "8 3/4"

the swap begins
i took the 22r away and send it to a new owner (and a super bad experience with the shipping company) never going to use again RoadWay express super bad customer service and untrained empolyees and a very bad communication! ever use' em again! thanks God everything is solved and my customer is happy.

Now back to my celica,
got the oil pan of the 2jzgte in the engine bay so you guys can see how much room i got in this chassis! it is sweet! i will take the engine as back as i can without cutting the fire wall i may need to modified the trany tunnel but nothing serious!

got to take the a/c + heating unit away (no need for that anymore) as well as the brake booster to start the swap this weekend! here some pictures of how it looks right now!

p882104_6.jpg

then i realize today is my f..king day cuz it was almost unbelivable when i went down underneath the car and the transmission x-member and mount just bolt together and the driveshaft went in like it was made for it! CAN YOU BELIVE THAT

p882104_10.jpg

and here is were i got to do my magic, i got to cut the factory x-member brackets to weld new ones nothing serious it is going to be super easy thats on the next update.

that rules. Glad to see it fits so easy. Did you try some different motor mounts like the becauseIcan with the 7m hard mounts from an 88 or 87? That looks real similar to mine and if everything else lines up it might just fit.

by the way all this is just moked up i will take it appart again to clean and paint it real good!
