My Poor car.... =''(

So today I was driving to school. Got on the road right next to my school and this road is steering and suspension HELL (Huge holes in the grond, 6 in. + deep). I already knew this, so ofcourse I slow WAY down, and start to go around them. Well the mail guy is in the way so I sat and waited. Next thing I hear is a car slamming on the breaks and sliding. I saw it in my rear view mirror so I popped the clutch and went through the holes. And SWEET BABY JESUS, do I wanna cry.....

The rim is bent there.

OH, and, my steering is now making noise when I turn. REALLY REALLY BAD. And some how my downpipe cracked??? Idk how that happened.

She would have for sure totaled my car. She was driving a lifted truck sitting on about 40s. She would have came up and on to the rear of my car. She got out and revealed to me why she almost hit me though......she was talking on her cell phone.

Yea. She saw it. Looked at it and said " that sucks, glad I dont have to fix it". Got back in her truck and drove off.

I mean, I never really liked the rims to much, but now I have that damn eye sore on them. And its going to irritate the hell out of me. I still have the 5 spokes that I got when the car. Maybe Ill throw those back on.

Have any of you guys ever seen what happens when you put bologna (bolony) on the hood of a car or truck??? =]

I hope you took her license plate down, and file a police report if you haven't. Something similar happened to me, and the cops told me that they couldn't do anything as far as giving him a ticket, but I should inspect my car as he could be held liable if there was any damage. I don't know how it is in your state, but that's BS, I wouldn't have let her drive away.

EDIT: That won't fix your car. Do it the legal way, it makes her life suck, and your life better. I'm with Ian on this, don't embarrass our community like a bunch of immature high school pricks.

Its making this loud clank noise when I turn it to the left (did it before i hit the hole) but now its 10x louder, and it does it when i turn right now, as well. Im thinking its the tie rods, but I am not 100%

I would think you could hold her liable for your damages. You should file a police report of the events that happened. Since she's in your class, get her driver license and insurance info, and contact her insurance. Send them a copy of the police report and tell them that she caused you to avoid her hitting you cause she was out of control.

That's just like someone running a red light and you swerve hard to the right and smash against the telephone pole. Even though the other car didn't make contact with you he/she still made you avoid the collision that sent you crashing into a pole. Their fault.

I would talk to your insurance company about the incident as well. Call anomynous and tell them your situation. Ask them as a policy holder what should you do in your situation.

Not everything is a lawsuit, sometimes you just have to suck it up and deal with the outcome.

I took a 30k+ loss on my 240z lost a big chunk of my life spent half a year in hospital and had surgery 9 times due to someone else fucking up that I couldn't prove for the above reason.....

Buy a wheel repair any other damage and move on life is too damn short to stress over BS..

The wheel isnt going to get fixed. Some of the marks are to deep.

Ive moved on. Cops said they cant do anything. I had to call them right then for them to be able to do anything. They did say to contact the county though, to see if they would fix the damage. Because its on a public road and it was the road that messed everything up.
