yea, the intercooler doesnt need actual air flow. It has a water tank and small radiator in the front of the car to cool the water after it flows through the intercooler. I used a air-water because it eliminates feet of charge pipes, you can run ice, more efficient, and i already had it... It works really well, I have an overkill 10+ gallon tank in the trunk that will hold over a 22lb bag of ice and water. After multiple passes at the track in 90 deg weather, the intercooler is still ice cold to the touch.
