first off, i apologize for not seeing your build thread earlier... i was in harveys today and was talking to jerry about ur build. sounds fun! hah, ive got mine just about ready to go back in. maybe my car will be running by tomorrow night. well see.
2nd, who powdercoated those valve covers for you and how much did they charge u?
3rd, the car is very nice looking and it will be sweet to be able to cruise alongside a mk3 owner in the des moines area! i cant wait!

Ya im susposed to call him today for a final price, which has me nervous, and hopefully i can pick mine up tomorrow or saturday. I actually got a really sweet deal on my valve covers. A buddy had them done for me for free! And i CANT WAIT until my damn car is done so i can drive, i'll definitely make a trip to meet if you want cause i have to put some miles on my car to break it in before i get to SP. I ordered my aem ems yesterday and that should be here by mid next week, and my turbo should be about a week and a half from SP. So when she's done we'll definitley go for a cruise.
awesome! we had some troubles tonight getting my motor back in. she got in easily but getting all the odds and ends connected was slowing us down. finally quit at 1am so we'll try harder tomorrow to see how well my oil leaks got fixed lol.

Got my gasket set yesterday and a polished intake manifold. I've got the manifold ready, threw my throttle body on, and assembly will start friday night/saturday morning. I'm going to try to make as much progress as possible so i can hopefully meet some of you guys in person at Chi2K7 with my supra.
Okay. Well i got some done this weekend. I got my engine dropped in, and after we tightened the motor mounts, tranny bolts, and TC bolts, we figured out we forgot some water pipes that run along the block and around the back.:icon_mad: Well the heads already on the block and there was no way possible of getting it on, so we had to repull the motor, put the damn part on, and then redrop the engine back in. Still waiting on my turbo and injectors from SP, hopefully by this coming weekend ill be breaking her in. Threw the valve covers and timing on for the hell of it, but they're not bolted.
Our stongman(the lift) makes the tranny bolts and tc bolts pretty easy:biglaugh:
Aem will be here wednesday, according to UPS, and as soon as the turbo/injectors arrive, i'll have more pics. And what to the Torque Converter bolts need to be torqued to i cant remember?
