Modesty forbids me from answering this question. We're about to leave to go to the track, and I've been praying to the clutch gods for some favorable holdings, but we'll see. I'm going to try and run without doing a burnout and see if that helps any.

No burnouts didn't help much but it did hold until third gear then it started slipping again. I ended up running a 13.47 @ 109mph..............:wtc:

Today George and I played golf and it was ugly. I played the worst I've played in a while and he beat me pretty bad. He has the scorecard as evidence. I tried to set it on fire and he wouldn't let me. I demanded a rematch for another day, but he feels I need to go through the lesser qualified before I get another title shot...............:biglaugh:

Here are some pictures and videos.

I demand rematch on the golf course and the track. Hopefully the real Suprahero will show on the golf course, and hopefully the real potential of the 2j will show on the track.

Jay is great host and his car looks better in person than the pics.

Gotta go frame that scorecard.

heres what the 2j had for dinner.

This will be my first rebuild so I'm looking forward to learning alot. Will be doing a lot of reading so I will get it built right. Hopefully will be able to save the black 89 in this pic. Had collision in rear end. If not will find some other canidate for it.

gts. love your little gut sig. Will have to see about saving the black car. It has brown interior. :3d_frown:

Scott, don't start diggin' quite yet. How close are you to firing it up?

Ha ha, it's called Gut Check.

I don't know why everybody is so down on a black/tan color combo. Is it too 80's for yall. I love it, but I was an 80's teen. Oh well, to each his own. Just don't part it because of the color.....pweezz? :icon_razz BUT!! If you do I want those grey trim moldings!!!

I've seen one really nice brown interior w/black combo. Just not my favorite combo but the paint my interior thread should be a cure for that. As for the moldings that's on the Katrina list.

Update. Well here's the latest. Finally got the 92 back home after 4 month's at Toyota (3 of them where at the machine shop
:3d_frown: :3d_frown: :3d_frown: :3d_frown: :3d_frown: ) So it will be time for some upgrades on the pansy ass 2jz. Not sure what route I'm going to go with yet but will keep everyone posted. Options are switching over to 5/6speed vs. built auto. Fuel upgrades, bigger injectors, etc.

btw the 92 is so smooth and quiet stock that I don't even want to mess with her. Will get some good pics this weekend.
