TBC: The community here will get behind you 100% and help in any way we can but your post slamming the fire dept bugged me.

They would have acted the same way if it were a 100K Merc or a 20 year old Supra.

You're blamming the wrong people here is all.

Your right. I apologize. These are the consquences of our passion for the mkIII. I was just heartbroken watching them not find the hood release and ripping it open with the jaws of life. As a trained firefighter I would have done different. That doesn't change your point though. If it was a 100k merk and they couldn't open it they would be forced to do the same. And I thank the community so much for the support thus far. You guys have made me beileve that my car will see the road again. The people that live close are donating time, and people across the country are scouring there garages to find part for me. That in its self is amazing. In the times we live where it seems everyone is out for themselves and you can still find a niche of people willing to help someone out. Not only is this car a love of mine it is my way to work and school as I am sure everyone elses cars are for them. So not only is everyone helping with car they are helping a person to continue there life without a major interuption. I thank all of you for the support so far.

IJ. I am sorry for offending you.
