ok so here is the background its a 87 turbo. the motor has weisco pistons, the block has been bored 20 over to fit the new piston. the whole rotating asembly was balanced new bearings and all that good stuff. the head: all titanaium oversized valves, ported and poilshed metal headgasket. turbo is rebuilt (150 mikles on it) rebuilot with larger conmpressor wheels. there plenty more to list on mods but this isnt a builkd up thread im just giving some general background to help. so here is the bad i am driving home on rte. 6 in ct and my buddy calls me and says holy shit something just fell off your car on fire. i cut the engine pop the hood and run to the front. i opened the hood and stared at armegedden. i am hoping that the motor is still good and the tranny and turbo. the fire never got to the bottom of the engine bay as the lower radiator hose and power steering houses are fine. everything around the motor is definetly toast. i have another supra its an 88 non turbo blown motor and not a good chasis. here is my plan and my questiopn to you guys. i am going to try and take all the shit in the engin bay out of the 88 and put it in the turbo car. this incldes fuse box brake master and booster, clutch master and line, wiper motor, power steering lines, i will need to but an ingnitor, coil pack, and wires. im gonna put my non turbo valve covers on. and i need to find an engine harnerness. is this doable guys and if so am i in for the worst month of my life? Do all the fuses match non turbo to turbo and so on for the brakes and clutch parts? i am gonna ditch cruise and the heater matrix valve and the ugly unbrunt fuel can. Please guys i need alot of help.
