oh wow revived! Well yeah its running and all. from my last post. The problem with the lights on the climate control was I think because I didnt have the hazard light switch plugged in. I have the shifter/stereo cover out right now, and I think the switch completes the circuit. Works fine after I plugged that in
The only problem I seem to be having right now is the oil pan is leaking.:icon_evil I dont like leaks, even slows ones like this one. I think its my fault too. I had a block of wood supporting the weight of the motor after I put on the oil pan. I think that is why its leaking. I think the weight forced most of the silicone out and then when I took the block out to take it off the stand then there wasnt enough left to make a good seal. Its my theory anyway. Now im looking at either having to pull the motor and dropping the subframe. Anyone have any other good ideas. I hate the thought of either. I think dropping the subframe will be less time comsuming but I have never done it. GRRRRRRR!

Dropping the subframe will result in dropping the motor as well, unless of course you support the motor from above with a hoist, it will be a pain in the ass either way. I say, space permitting, pull the engine and throw it on a stand. If you are dead set on the subframe idea though, you need to remove 6 subframe bolts, unbolt the engine mounts, unbolt the steering column, and unhook your PS lines at the rack to get the subframe out of there.

Yeah I know. Either way is going to suck. Im thinking that lowering the subframe will keep me from unhooking as much stuff. Which im thinking will save me some time. I dread the thought of pulling that motor again just for a leak.
