My 86 Supra

Ok so i have a white 86 supra 7mge and not much is done to my car, i have to get it to run b4 i do much more to it anyways it has an autozone air filter, an autozone air filter adapter plate, a gutted cat, and a N1 4" muffler. So thats pretty much what is done to the car so far. Future MODS ive want to swap a 1jz into it but thats gonna b awhile so ill just fix my BHG and stick with the 7m for now but im gonna remove the ac bc it dosnt work anyways also i want to turbo bc whats a supra without a turbo lol but really ive nerver had a turbo car b4 it might be fun! Hmm? I think thats it for now and ill post pics when i get some uploaded to my comp.

Ditch the Autozone parts. Get the AC working, fix the headgasket. Get to the point where you can enjoy driving the car and have it be reliable. Keep saving and go JZ Don't turbo the 7m if you're main goal is to go JZ, you will just keep getting deeper and deeper.

ok so im in the process of repairing the head gasket just have to take off the timing belt and the head bolts and i cant ditch the autozone parts my stock ones are in very bad condition from 86 and ive also decided to just build on my ge bc in the long run the 1jz will be more that i can afford

ok so ive gotten everything off so remove the head but it wont budge ive tried prying it witha 2by4 standing on the car and pulling up hitting it with a hammer it wont budge can anyone help me?

Yeah, don't hit it with a hammer. :nono:

Make sure all the head bolts are out, and the timing belt is off. It's been on there for 20ish years, of course it'll be a bit stuck. Keep at it, it'll come off. Don't do anything to it that'll damage it. And building the GE isn't exactly a wise decision if you're trying to save money...

Also, use some punctuation, man. It's a pain in the ass to try to understand what you're saying when it's all in one gigantic sentence with no capitalization or punctuation.

Sry man, :icon_mad: and i didnt really hit it with a hammer was just overexageratin. I did however FINALLY get it off, I stood on the car and rocked the head back and forth till it finally broke loose. Thanks tho!

It really didnt look to bad but it did have some bad spots. I got pics and ill post them when i get them uploaded to my comp

photobucket.com ....... its free . then after you have your pics on PB you take the IMG file over to your post , When your posting ..... I use tabs , Makes life easier ....
Oh ya .... Take your time with the repairs , There not that hard , But NO ONE wants to do them over again because of a simple mistake .... & change all your old heater hoses & vacume lines ..... You'll thank me later , & if you half ass it , you will regret it .

Lol! The hood holds up on its own but when i would be losening bolts or tryn to break them free i would raise up and my back would hit the hood so it would fall on me, so i improvised!:naughty:
