Now a little more about the car. It of course has high mileage on it but is in pretty damn good shape. Carfax indicated one owner for past 11 years. I bought it through an internet sales place in Dallas. It has a tan interior. The paint job is less than stellar and looks way better in the picture. The previous owner apparently took it for a cheapo paint job so it doesn't look that good...to me... up close but it's still nice enough.
The valve covers leak and it possibly has a rear main seal leak. So after I bought it I drove it straight over to Christians shop to have them fixed. He checked the car out for me before I bought it and gave a huge thumbs up on it.

Absolutely gorgeous. I for one love an SC300 just as much as I do the supra. I came so close to buying one two weeks ago, but I don't need another project and I know I wouldn't be able to leave it non turbo'd. Good luck and congrats on a gorgeous car Ken.
Thanks Jay. I've always liked them too, and since it shares the same chasis as an MKIV, part swapping is easy.

Wow, that is a clean sc300. I would almost consider keeping the lexus as a fun car, rather than getting another MKIII to play with. That lexus is gorgeous, all it needs right now is a set of MKIV TT wheels, powdercoated black.
I've actually been thinking about that, since I found out how insanely easy it would be to drop a Soarer 1JZ in there. Plug n Play with the only wiring modification being the lengthening of the harness. And TT wheels would looks super sweet on it.
Ohhhh the possibilities....:naughty:
