Well, that statement says something I will never say. I personally won't be messing with any valves. There have been many things that I used to think were over my head. My 89 cured the fear of many many things, but valves is one I will leave up to someone else.

Well get your ass down here and fix my car. This is Texas! We got all the BBQ chicken you could want.:biglaugh:

I made a thread asking for someone to photoshop one of my pictures. ERA was the first to post some up. For those of you that haven't seen that thread, here is a coupld of what ERA came up with.

This one is my favorite

Ok so it's been a while but there's been nothing to report until yesterday.

I sent my wheel to Pete aka Facime to have recovered and am very happy with the results. If your wheel is starting to look ratty, get it rewrapped!

Before:

After:

And back on the car:

Next interior item will be a new TEMS switch. Then I need to get a new radiator:icon_evil. Mine has a very small leak but I feel it's a ticking time bomb.

I got some goodies in the mail today. One interior item and three engine items.

First I got something for the interior to match by fantastic new steering wheel. Can you see what it is?

BEFORE

and AFTER

I also got new OEM rubber air hoses for the BOV and ISCV. They are not a light grey as the look in the pics but they are not black either. I don't care either way because they are soft and not hard as rocks and cracked. My car actually ran a little better after putting them on. The hose between the 3000 pipe and BOV was cracked very bad so I'm sure I had a boost leak going on.

Well it's been a while since there's been an update.

Yall know I got the steering wheel recovered...I got a new TEMS switch.

I scored a brand new in the box still Apexi intake and got that put on this morning. Also the same person I got the intake from just gave me the cd/tape player. He said it didn't sound good but was sure the amp was fried. I'm going to source an amp and harness and test it out in my car.

I've been having driveline issues...vibrations and such. Swapped out the driveshaft, carrier bearing with just temp relief and then the symptoms came back. Well today I put on a brand new tranny mount. Man! What a difference that made! I still feel some "issues" but nothing like it was. The tranny is back up to where it's supposed to be. Still though, I will most likely be in touch with Shaftmasters to get a whole new one piece shaft.

The cruise control crapped out on me and I really really used it all the time. Amazingly, our systems have computers and can tell you codes! So I'll be checking that out soon.

Hopefully within the week I will have my truck sold and the supra will be my only vehicle for a while so I've been trying to get it up to par for daily driving. A radiator is also in its future as well.

That's all for now.:icon_bigg

Well I sold my truck and the Supra is now my daily driver. I made a little extra $$$ on the GMC so I've bought some goodies for the car that I'm excited about. I'll reveal later if anyone is still interested in this thread ;). More to come....
