For $50 i'm sure you could part it out and double your money. Of course, I have 20+ vehicles laying in my yard waiting to be parted out so maybe you shouldn't listen to me.:evil2:

MR2's are deffinetly worth the time. I'd buy one as a daily if i found one for cheap. And as far as pricing goes offer him like 250$ and see what he says.

The turbo MR2 I gues 2nd gen is worth the time, The 1st gen isn't much of a power maker and they don't handle all the well, for a cheap DD its ok but for performance I'd get the turbo t top like 93 95 model. If it's real cheal part it or something.

On the contrary....

The first gen MR2 will handle MUCH better than a SW20 any day with the right tuning.

Sure the 4A-GE does not put out much power whatsoever but the AW11 weights 2350 pounds....

Yeah, and if you can find a 4agze motor to transplant into it, then it becomes a monster ... well, somewhat of a monster.

Heck since its a mr2, you can probably drop in a 3sgte with some hardwork.

What kind of crack are you smoking and where can I get some?

1st gen handles MUCH better than the 2nd gen. 2nd gens aren't good for much more than straight lines.

Theresa has the best handling MR2 hands down. I just recently got to drive a Spyder and I was amazed at the control of this car.

Only problem is it felt gutless. Stupid 1ZZ-FE. Needs a 2ZZ-GE.

Absolutely. Mine is getting a 2zz swap in the spring.

The Spyder is certainly quick. Fast, it is not.

You need a 4A-GZE swap [supercharged] and probably a nice performance rebuild.
Then, you get your hands on a HK$ TwinCharger kit [so you have a turbo+supercharger].
Then you put a Blitz pulley on the SC.
Happiness.

You don't know what you're talking to.

an aw11 is tons more fun to drive than most mk3s. not to mention the supercharged version...

even in a straight line, I'd be willing to bet a supercharged AW11 would hand your supra its ass.
