When we got my car it had issues..:biglaugh: :biglaugh:
One day I got home from work and Jay had been working on my car. He said "drive it down the road". I asked him what do you want me to do, can I get on it? He grinned and said yes. I drove it down the road, made one pass, turned around at a store about 1/2 mile from the house. When I came out the parking lot I floored it. When I drove back into the yard Jay was laughing and shaking his head. He didn't think I would do it. He said it sounded like a race car taking off..............A couple of weeks later I out ran him at the track.....;)

Don't underestimate me because I'm a girl..............:icon_bigg

I have 2 most memoriable experiences.

1. I can tell you exactly when my first HG went. Was on campus just cruising and went to step off from a stop sign and the car went down a cycl. Parked it and had it towed back to Dallas (About 200 miles) to fix it.

2. When I got my Red hardtop 90 NA 5spd and the road trip back from CA to TX. Yes the whole thing because of all the issues we ran into. lol

My most memorable moment was passing by a Highway Patrolman hiding off the highway along I75 somewhere in S. Georgia. It was about 10 PM and the road was wide open. I was going at least 125--I was just pulling back on from getting some gas, had hit 120 on the onramp and hadn't let off yet...

I saw him pull onto the highway behind me and thought about two worst case scenarios:
1. I can pull over like a good citizen, lose my license and go to jail.
2. I can try and outrun him, have him catch me, lose my license and go to jail.

Luckily I didn't have to live with either of those outcomes...I floored it to the next exit and disappeared. I ended up spending at least an hour at a convenience store in the middle of nowhere, miles from the interstate, my Supra hidden behind the store...

Driving 1000km to where I'm living now, when I had only had the engine in the car for about 3 days. Also messing with slow cars on the drive, Del Sols are funny

I guess my most memorable moment would be when I got my custom filter on, listening to the turbo spool, and *WHOOSH* - the Sup is topless.

Forgot to tighten that damn targa down.

I have a few that are worth sharing.

One time after parking it with my gf for a really long time the windows were fogged up and I couldn't see squat - my gf left to go to class or whatever and I just started driving not thinking anything about the fact that I couldn't really see out of my windows - I ended up running a red light and almost T-boning some car, but I slammed onto the brakes and missed him somehow and went on my way as if nothing ever happened. I don't often get scared while driving no matter the situation - but that one was close.

Me and my friend went to the NOPI event in Norwalk and took some backroad to get there, and on the way back it was really late and we were hungry - thhis backroad went through some small little town and it turned into a 4 lane and we were picking out which fast food joint to stop at. We passed up KFC and thats where we wanted to go - a normal person would just be patient, take a left hand turn to turn around and head back. I couldn't wait much longer - hunger gets the best of me. I ended up pulling a 180 right on the 4 way with oncoming traffic - it swung it really good and took off like a bat out of hell and I pulled into KFC as if I hadn't done a thing.

So this last one is a real winner - one of my friends (names Wang) he's an Asian guy and he drives a MR2 - he would poke fun at my car all the time... Seth that car blows, when you going 2J? That car can't turn 6K! I was just like shut up, you have yet to even ride in the damn thing. So what do I end up doing? Lets go for a ride, and were hitting the interstate. I get onto the interstate, I get all on it, and he sees me hit 6K or so and he goes man, this car just feels slow, but your actually going pretty fast. So I kept it up, I kept on going, I was running about 90 to 100mph... and for some reason my RPMs just stayed high - my car did not shift into overdrive, I done it so many times before without flaw - so I just laid her to the rug and my RPM's stayed high, and then I started to hear a God awful noise... OH NOES!!!1111!!1!1 I had heard that same noise before in my Porsche 944 right before she ultimately died, and I knew the exact problem at hand - the main bearings were shot. Somehow I made it to the next exit, and made it 3 miles away from where my dorm was, it was the day before my 18th birthday, and it sucked royally... I had to restart the car several times to make it as far as I did, oil pressure was inexistant, but to be truly honest I didn't care all that much - I was planning on upgrading everything anyways right? Just get a 1J and be on my way? haha nope, found myself a 7MGE that has already been built and bought that for $300, I couldn't beat the deal, but I have just yet to get it in... but it will be soon enough.

Those are my stories - 2 were fun - 1 was tragic.

My most memorable moment would have to be the drive home from the dealership after buying my 89 N/A 5spd. The entire trip I just kept telling myself that it wasn't a dream. I couldn't believe that I actually had found my dream car, I actually owned a Mk3 Supra. Now I know that it wasn't the turbo Supra that I really wanted, but it was in good shape, and just because it wasn't exactly what I wanted, that wasn't going to stop me from turning it into my dream car. It's going to take some time and money, but the pride that I feel when I look at my car is something I can't explain.

Driving through the streets of vancouver with atleast 20 other supras.

Suprafest right? That is one of my most memorable moments in my supra... that whole weekend just crusing around after the events, hangin' out at duane's (upgradedsupra) place eating, what was it, safeway roasted chicken, potatoe salad and coleslaw(sp?)? After food we all washed the 8+ supra's parked in his little back yard then went out for a cruise downtown vancouver during the festival of lights.. 20+ turbo supras blowing off infront of a whole shit load of cops... good times.

On the way home I got my first speeding ticket and almost lost my license... 140 in a 90... $300 ticket. I smoked a pack of smokes over the next 3 hours left of driving...
