Thanks dude!Good luck!! Love to see a project car get finished.
I’ve been trying to knock out a few things here and there. For as much as I want to get it done, there’s no sense in rushing. Little by little brotherThis is giving me a lot of motivation to continue working on my supra. The daily has been acting up so I haven't made much progress lately.
Are the valve cover fittings pressed in or welded? I assume for a catch can?Blast from the past! The time has come to get this girl done! 75% of the interior has been reinstalled. I still need to button up wiring for the power folding mirrors, then focus on engine and standalone.
I will say this - after 20+ years of ownership, my memory is not nearly as good as it used to be! Where’s Shaeff when you need him!![]()
They are in fact welded. I’m not sure if they make press AN fittings, but I wouldn’t want to chance it for something like this. I did use a rubber vacuum port on the intake pipe to avoid welding that as well. It’s basically a rubber fitting that gets inserted tightly into a grommet. Seems to have sealed fairly well! Are the valve cover fittings pressed in or welded? I assume for a catch can?
Now that im looking through he rest of the pics I can see they are welded. Don't they make AN fittings that press in? Just curious for myself.
