Blast from the past! The time has come to get this girl done! 75% of the interior has been reinstalled. I still need to button up wiring for the power folding mirrors, then focus on engine and standalone.

I will say this - after 20+ years of ownership, my memory is not nearly as good as it used to be! Where’s Shaeff when you need him! ;)

Progress!

Thermostat housing and sensors reinstalled. The original wiring harness was rather jacked up when I purchased the car so I’m taking the time to replace and repair various plugs and wires. I purchased a donor gray plug harness to assist in the process.

Additional tasks completed:

-Valve covers installed
- Autolite copper plugs installed
- DH61 Lexus IS300 igniter installed (harness extended)
- Fuse box relocated
- TPS harness extended
- Q45 throttle body buttoned up — Beechnut TPS adapter was installed as well. Certainly not a plug and play affair. Without time and patience, it could turn into a nightmare. My apologies for not taking more pics

Next on the list:

- Install IS300 COP set up
- Wire flex-a-lite fans
- Install Tein EDFC
- Install AEM v.1
- Install ARZ front and rear BBK kit
- Install catch can set up
- Make wiring harness for power folding mirrors
- Finish installing interior
- Etc.
- Etc.
- Etc.

This is giving me a lot of motivation to continue working on my supra. The daily has been acting up so I haven't made much progress lately.

I’ve been trying to knock out a few things here and there. For as much as I want to get it done, there’s no sense in rushing. Little by little brother

Another quick update:

- IAC installed
- IS300 coils mocked (NM bracket on the way)
- Mishimoto oil catch can installed. Valve covers lines plumbed. Waiting on some tubing to fab up the turbo inlet pipe and finish the catch can lines, along with other vacuum lines

Are the valve cover fittings pressed in or welded? I assume for a catch can?

Now that im looking through he rest of the pics I can see they are welded. Don't they make AN fittings that press in? Just curious for myself.

They are in fact welded. I’m not sure if they make press AN fittings, but I wouldn’t want to chance it for something like this. I did use a rubber vacuum port on the intake pipe to avoid welding that as well. It’s basically a rubber fitting that gets inserted tightly into a grommet. Seems to have sealed fairly well!
